The Neanderthals are our closest prehistoric relatives, but what do we really know about them and their world? To warm up to this year's big special exhibition, Neanderthals, join us for a book launch and presentation by the renowned researcher and author Rebecca Wraggs Sykes. Meet her for a conversation about the Neanderthals' life, death, art and love on the occasion of the Danish publication of her critically acclaimed book, which gives a whole new look at the Neanderthals.

You can hear Rebecca talk about the book and about her research at the Natural History Museum of Denmark on Saturday 26 March from 3.30 PM til 4.30 PM in the auditorium on the 2nd floor.

Behind the author


Rebecca Wragg Sykes is an archaeologist and author and holds an honorary fellowship from the School of Archeology, Classics and Egyptology at the University of Liverpool. Her critically acclaimed bestseller 'KINDRED: Neanderthal Life, Love, Death and Art' is based on the latest research in the field and is now published in Danish.
