Smaller insect orders

Apterygote orders: The worldwide Protura collection of S.L,. Tuxen, with many types, is particularly noteworthy.

Odonata: a large collection, covering a high proportion of the genera of the world. Among the older material are the types of H.E. Hagen and E. de SelysLongchamps. Particular strengths are material from the Oriental region.

Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Psocoptera: small but representative collections, primarily thanks to the P. EsbenPetersen collection.

Neuropteroid orders and Mecoptera: The worldwide coll. P. Esben-Petersen, with several types, is noteworthy.

Trichoptera: a moderately-sized collection; particular strengths are the very comprehensive material of immature Danish Trichoptera collected and identified by A. Nielsen; a large material of alcohol-preserved adults and immatures from E. African montane forest streams; a large alcohol-preserved material (mainly from light traps) of adults from austral S. America.

Thysanoptera, Siphunculata, Mallophaga, Siphonaptera: mainly Danish material.
