Highlights from Galathea 3 – the new findings
It will take some years for all the samples and specimens collected by Galathea 3 to be fully studied and for the results to be written up for publication. Meanwhile we are delighted to highlight some findings which have already been released – such as the Antarctic eelpout discovered in 2007, a fish so new to science that it hasn't even got a recognised Latin name yet!
