Opening hours:
The museum is open all year round, Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
Closed on Mondays and on 24th, 25th, 31st December and 1st January.
In week 42 (which are school holidays in Denmark), the museum is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm including Mondays!
In week 7 (which is school holiday in Denmark), the museum is open Monday - Friday from 10 am to 9 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm!
In week 8 (which is school holiday in Denmark), the museum is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm including Mondays!
Admission prices:
Adult:75 kroner
Child (3-16 yrs): 40 DKK
SFO og børnehaver pr. barn: 15 DKK
Free admission for students at Copenhagens University
Schools and institutions
On weekdays only, the charge is 15 DKK per pupil on a school visit. Free admission for accompanying teaching staff. Valid with or without educational programme.
Season ticket:
Adults: DKK 140.-
Children: DKK 75.-
(also valid at the Geological Museum and for special exhibitions)
Joint ticket
Admission tickets purchased at the Zoological Museum are valid on the same day for the Geological Museum. Tickets purchased at the Geological Museum are valid on the same day for the Zoological Museum on payment of a supplement of 40 DKK for adults and 15 kroner for children.
PARKING
Free parking in up to 3 hours, at the University's large parking area, just 200 m from the Museum (enter from Jagtvej), when visiting Zoological Museum.
Disable Parking
There are two disable parking spaces available in close distance to the Museum on the road "Universitetsparken", by the Museum "delivery entrance."
