Autumn Breake for the Whole Family

TEDDY BEAR ZOOLOGISTS, MONKEY WORKSHOP
14. – 22. OCTOBER 2023

In the Monkey Workshop, the entire family can get creative. Here, you can examine skulls and bones, assemble the large chimpanzee skeleton puzzle, listen to the sounds of monkeys, imitate their facial expressions, and make your very own monkey mask to take home. Go ahead and explore the rest of the special exhibition 'Monkeys - A Primate Story'.

On Monday, October 16, and Friday, October 20, at 11 – 16 you can bring your favorite stuffed animal and have it identified by the museum's popular teddy bear zoologists, Dr. Gjerløff and Dr. Trolle. The stuffed animal will be issued an official label with its Latin name, just as we do with the animals in our scientific collections.

The Palm House in the Botanical Garden

Outside in the Botanical Garden, you can enjoy the beautiful red and yellow hues of the leaves.

The autumn break is also the last chance to experience the living butterflies in the Butterfly House, which closes for the winter season on October 22nd. Witness their fascinating transformation up close and explore the rest of the Palm House.
