Move and install

Conservation is involved in the move and install of specimens into the new museum building, working in collaboration with the curation, exhibition, and construction teams. Here you will find strategies implemented by our conservation team to safely de-install and re-install specimens, as well as considerations for the new museum site.

Deinstalling the Neanderthals exhibition

The Neanderthals exhibition, located at the Natural History Museum of Denmark, closed to visitors on February 19^th. The following day, the museum team started the two-week process of deinstallation.
